ER24 paramedics and other services attended to a shooting incident in Field Street, Boksburg, earlier this evening.
On arrival, paramedics found two men in a vehicle.
Upon assessment of the men believed to be in their 20’s it was found that one had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Sadly there was nothing that could be done for the patient. He had succumbed to his injuries.
Upon assessment of the second person who was also shot it was found that he was in a critical condition.
He was treated and airlifted by a private medical helicopter to hospital for further medical care.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are unknown.
Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
