Five people have been injured one seriously so after a truck and a bakkie collided head on in Archary Road Clairwood just after 08:30pm on Saturday night.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that a truck and a bakkie had collided head on. Five occupants from the bakkie had sustained injuries ranging from moderate to serious and Advanced Life Support Paramedics from EMRS and Rescue Care worked to stabilize the injured. Once all of the injured had been stabilized they were all transported by Rescue Care to a nearby hospital for the further care that they required.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
