A 45-year-old man has suffered serious injuries after he experienced difficulty while paragliding in Bulwer, Kwa-Zulu Natal.
Reports from the scene indicate that the man’s parachute collapsed while paragliding.
The man landed on top of a mountain in the Boston area.
Netcare911 paramedics worked alongside the Durban Airforce 15 squadrons, the Provincial EMS and another Private service on scene.
The man was stabilised on scene before he was airlifted under the care of Netcare911 paramedics in the Durban Airforce 15 squadrons helicopter.
He was airlifted to a Netcare hospital where he is receiving further medical care.
