Worker dies when electrocuted while changing plug on grinder

This morning at around 11h30 the Netcare 911 rescue vehicle responded to an electrocution in Bell Tower Road Pinetown. Reports indicate that the worker was using a grinder to work on a vehicle. The man found the plug to be faulty and when he was busy changing the plug he came into contact with the live wires.

Medics arrived at the scene and found the man lying on the ground unresponsive. Tragically, the 23-year-old died before our arrival.
