An elderly woman was airlifted from the Sea Point area in the Westerbn Cape after she suffered an unknown medical condition.
ER24 paramedics were called to the scene after receiving reports of a woman in destress.
On arrival, paramedics found the woman lying in her car, parked on Beach Road. The patient was being treated by an off duty doctor.
Paramedics began their assessment and found the woman to be in a serious condition.
Treatement and advanced life support interventiong were performed on the patient before she was airlifted by the AMS Helicopter. The patient was transported to Mediclinic Milnerton for urgent treatment.
