Man stabbed in Southfield, Cape Town

A 68-year-old man was fortunate in escaping serious injury this morning after he was stabbed at his home on Seaton Road in Southfield, Cape Town.

ER24 paramedics arrived at the residence at 03h00 this morning where they were ushered into the lounge to the patient.

On inspection, paramedics found the patient sitting in a chair giving a statement to the SAPS.

Assessment showed that the man had sustained two minor stab wounds, one to his arm and the other to his chest.

Paramedics treated the man and thereafter transported him to Victoria Hospital for further treatment.

Local authorities were on scene to investigate the cause of this incident.
