A woman has sustained minor injuries after her vehicle collided with a truck on the R44 near Winery road in Stellenbosch, Western Cape.
The exact detail to the cause of the accident will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare911 paramedics and other services used the jaws of life to extricate the woman out of the vehicle.
Once freed, the woman was stabilised on scene and transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
