A 28-year-old woman was left seriously injured this afternoon after her vehicle rolled off the R604 in Wartburg, KwaZulu Natal.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the light motor vehicle lying at the bottom of the embankment on its side. The woman was found at the top of the embankment by the roadside.
On assessment, paramedics found that the woman had sustained multiple injuries when she was ejected from her vehicle.
Paramedics treated the patient and provided her with advanced life support interventions before she was transported to Edendale Hospital for further treatment.
The exact details of the collision are not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
