Man rescued off Table Mountain

The Western Cape Department of Health EMS/AMS emergency rescue helicopter rescued a 20 year old male patient late this afternoon off Table Mountain.

The patient was stuck on a ledge at Skeleton Gorge.

The patient was extricated and handed over to the local Metro road ambulance. Earlier this morning the rescue crew also conducted a mountain rescue exercise at Newlands Forest.
