Nine people were injured in a collision between a taxi and a car at Pretorius and Beckett streets in Arcadia, Pretoria, this afternoon.
ER24 paramedics and other services attended to the incident.
Upon arrival at the scene, both vehicles were found on the road. One woman was still seated in the taxi and the others were on the side of the road.
Upon assessment of the patients, two from the car and the rest from the taxi, it was found that they sustained minor to moderate injuries.
They were treated and transported to hospital for further medical care.
The exact cause of the incident is unknown.
Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
