A man has died and a thirty-seven-year-old woman is in a critical condition following a shooting at a house on Noodsberg Road (R614) in Tongaat, Kwa-Zulu Natal.
The exact detail as to what happened will form part of a SAPS investigation and comment.
When Netcare911 paramedics arrived on scene, we found that the man had already died due to the multiple gunshot wounds he sustained.
We also found the woman to be in a critical condition, a Netcare 911 Emergency Care Practitioner intubated the woman on scene – to assist her to breathe – before transporting her to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
The man was declared dead on scene by a Netcare911 paramedic.
The shooting incident took place this morning at about 10h30 .
