Three men were injured this morning after their bakkie crashed into a tree on the N2 Highway, outbound direction, in Cape Town.
ER24, along with Community Medics, arrived on the scene and found the bakkie stationary in the middle isle, leaning against a small tree. Three men from the bakkie were found walking around on the scene.
On assessment, paramedics discovered that all three man had sustained only minor injuries. Fortunately, no serious or fatal injuries were reported on the scene.
Paramedics treated the patients and transported them to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
It is understood that the driver lost control of the vehicle in the wet weather, causing it to crash into the tree.
Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
