This afternoon Netcare 911 paramedics responded to an open Quarry in Moloto Road Pretoria for a blasting accident. Exact detail to the Cause of the incident is still speculative and will form part of an investigation.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found that fourteen people had sustained injuries ranging from serious to minor among them was a woman and a child. Vehicles that was parked on the site was found to have their windows shattered.
Paramedics treated the injured at the scene before they transported them to nearby hospitals for the care that they required.
