Mpumalanga- Kabokweni: Two suspects, aged 37 and 41 years, were arrested for alleged rhino poaching yesterday at around 02:00 at Sifunindlela.
The arrest came after the National intervention Unit and the TRT, who were deployed at Achonhoek, followed information and worked with Kabokweni SAPS to arrest the two suspects.
A rented room of one of the suspect was searched and various firearms and several round of ammunition were recovered.
Cases of possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition have been opened and the two suspect appeared at the Kabokweni Magistrate court yesterday.
