This afternoon Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a vehicle that overturned on the R603 about ten kilometres before Eston. Reports from the scene indicate that the vehicle left the roadway and overturned, its wreckage coming to rest on its roof next to the roadway.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found that the female driver had sustained serious injuries. Medics treated the forty-five-year-old female at the scene before she was transported to a Pietermaritzburg hospital for the care that she required.
