On Tuesday morning at 07h12 Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a pedestrian crash in front of Garsfontein high School in Pretoria. Reports from the scene indicate that the girl was crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing when she was hit by a vehicle that then fled the scene. Exact detail however will be for police comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found that the girl had sustained serious injuries. Medics treated the injured student at the scene before they transported her to a nearby hospital under the constant care of an advanced life support paramedic.
