A newborn infant is in a critical condition after being born prematurly at Diepsloot Fire Station in Johannesburg.
ER24 paramedics were called to the fire station after firefighter had sent out the call for assistance.
Upon arrival, paramedics found that the child had already been delivered but showed diminished signs of life.
Paramedics took over treatment and initiated numerous advanced life support interventions.
Once the infants vital signs were stable, paramedics transported him and the mother to Coronation Hospital for urgent treatment.
