A man was left seriously injured this morning after he fell 8 metres while working on a construction site on Data Cresent in Ormonde, south of Johannesburg.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 08h28 and found the patient lying on the ground beneath some scaffolding, surrounded by several of his colleagues.
On assessment, paramedics found that the patient had sustained numerous, leaving him in a serious condition.
Paramedics treated the patient and immediately initiated numerous advanced life support interventions. Once treated, the patient was transported to Baragwanath Hospital for further medical treatment.
