Last night just after 23:00 EMER-G-MED’s RV5, C07 and A09 attended to a serious collision on Griffiths Road, over the R21 highway, in Boksburg.
On arrival paramedics foundering a bakkie had collided with a truck leaving several injured.
A 10-year-old child sustained critical injuries that required immediate Advanced Life Support intervention. The child was intubated and put on life support before being rushed to a nearby Trauma Centre for further management.
The exact cause of the collision is unclear and will be investigated by local authorities.
