A man was killed last night after he rear-ended a light motor vehicle on the N1 north-bound near the Rand Show Road in Johannesburg.
Paramedics from the ER24 Johannesburg South branch arrived on the scene and found the biker and his wrecked vehicle in the yellow lane of the highway. Debris from the motorcycle was spread at least 100 metres across the scene.
On assessment, paramedics found that the man had sustained numerous, fatal injuries.
Unfortunately, the man had already succumbed to his injuries. Nothing more could be done for the patient and he was declared dead on the scene.
The occupants from the light motor vehicle were assessed by another service on scene.
Local authorities were on scene for further investgations
