Three people have been injured after a taxi and a vehicle collided at the corner of Old Fort Road and Stanger Street just before 6am this morning.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene and found the two badly damaged vehicles on the roadway and pavement. A quick survey was done and it was established that three people had sustained various injuries. Once they had been stabilised on the scene they were transported to nearby hospitals for the further care that they required.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however the necessary authorities were on scene and will be investigating further.
