Two men were injured this afternoon after their truck rolled down an embankment off twins Road in the Waterfall area in Hillcrest, KwaZulu Natal.
ER24 paramedics, along with various other services, arrived on the scene and found the truck lying on its side 100 metres down a steep embankment. Two occupants, both men, were found waiting for paramedics by the road after they had climbed the embankment.
On assessment of both men, paramedics found that the men had sustained moderate injuries.
The men were treated for their injuries and thereafter transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
It is believed that the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to leave the road and roll down the embankment.
Local authorities were on scene to investigate further.
