EMER-G-MED’s M05, V02 and A08 responded to reports of a serious collision on the N1 North after Botha Avenue, Centurion.
On arrival paramedics found that a bakkie had rear-ended a truck, leaving the driver entrapped within the wreckage.
Paramedics treated the patient while the City of Tshwane Fire Department used the “jaws of life” and other rescue tools to free the entrapped driver.
Once extricated the patient was transported by EMER-G-MED under Advanced Life Support care to a nearby facility.
