A man believed to be in his seventies has fallen to his death in Durban this morning.
Just after 10am Rescue Care Paramedics responded to the N3 Durban bound just after Musgrave Road Bridge for a man lying motionless on the highway. Paramedics arrived to find the elderly man on the busy highway. He had fallen from the Pedestrian bridge above. He was assessed but had unfortunately sustained fatal injuries. There was nothing more Paramedics could do and the man was declared deceased on the scene.
The details leading up to the man falling are unknown at this stage however SAPS were on scene and will be investigating further.
