A twenty-five-year-old male is in a critical condition after being shot on 38th Avenue in Claremont, Pinetown area around 1pm.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find the critically injured man ion the floor. Advanced Life Support Paramedics worked to stabilise the man who had sustained a single gunshot wound to his upper body before rushing him through to a nearby hospital for the further urgent care that he required.
AT this stage the events leading up to the shooting are unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
