A security guard has sadly died after being shot this morning in the Vaal area.
It is understood that he was driving the cash vehicle on Westinghouse Boulevard when suspects opened fire. The man believed to be in his 30’s was shot multiple times. He lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a wall.
ER24 paramedics attended to the incident. The man was in a critical condition. His condition deteriorated and paramedics began to resuscitate him.
Despite all efforts to save the man, he sadly died.
