Multiple injured in taxi crash on the N3 North bound before Cato Ridge

Approximately fourteen people have been injured after the taxi they were in lost control colliding with the barrier before rolling down a bank on the N3 North bound before Cato Ridge on Sunday morning.

Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that the single vehicle had somehow lost control before rolling down an embankment. The vehicle came to rest on its wheels. Approximately fourteen people had sustained various injuries and more ambulances were dispatched to assist. Once all of the injured had been stabilised on the scene they were transported to various hospitals in Durban and Pietermaritzburg for further care that they required.

At this stage the exact cause of the taxi rolling is unknown however the necessary authorities were on the scene and will be investigating further.
