Four people, including a child, injured in Durban city crash

Four people including a child have been injured after two vehicles collided at the intersection of Smith Street and Broad Street in the city centre before one vehicle collided into a stationary vehicle on the side of the road.

Just after 5am Rescue Care Paramedics responded to the call to find the three damaged vehicles distance apart. After the impact one of the vehicles collided into a stationary car on the roadside where a young child was inside. The child and his father were stabilised on the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Two other patients were also treated on scene before being taken to a nearby hospital for further care.

At this stage the exact cause of the collision is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
