Weekend collision on the corner of William Nicol Drive and Uranium Road, in Fourways.

On Friday night Emer-G-Med’s RV6, M06 and A01 attended to a serious collision on the corner of William Nicol Drive and Uranium Road, in Fourways.

It’s believed that the white car had stopped on the side of the road, when it was rear-ended by a Audi at a high-speed – leaving both vehicles heavily damaged.

On arrival paramedics found that the passenger of the white car had sustained critical injuries, requiring immediate Advanced Life Support intervention. Paramedics stabilised the patient at the scene, before rushing him to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

The two drivers initially refused medical attention, later the driver of the white car suffered a serious medical emergency – he was also transported to hospital under Advanced Life Support care.

The driver of the Audi was later assessed and transported to hospital by provincial ambulance services.

JMPD were at the scene to investigate accordingly.
