A man believed to be in his forties has been killed after falling approximately three stories on Maydon Road in the harbour on Saturday afternoon.
Just after 13:20 Rescue Care Paramedics were called to the scene where a man had been working on the roof and fallen. On their arrival, they found that a man had fallen approximately three stories. On assessment Advanced Life Support Paramedics found that the man had sustained major injuries and had unfortunately passed away before their arrival. He was declared deceased on the scene.
At this stage the exact events leading up to the man falling are unknown however SAPS were on scene and will be investigating further.
