A man believed to be in his early twenties has died in an apparent suicide in Logan street in Bryanston, Johannesburg.
ER24 paramedics were notified by police about the incident at 17h00 this afternoon.
At the time of their arrival, ER24 paramedics found the man with a self-inflicted wound to the head lying on the pavement with a firearm next to him. Unfortunately there was nothing the paramedics could do to help him and he was declared dead on the scene.
It is believed that the man had warned his friends of a plan to commit suicide moments before he was found dead in Logan street.
The road was closed off and local authorities were on the scene to investigate further.
