Free state, On 23 March 2017, SAPS Selosesha Social Crime Prevention Office in partnership with the Department of Police, Roads & Transport conducted a door-to-door campaign at Mokwena Location, Thaba Nchu.
The aim of the #CrimeAwareness campaign was to educate the community about issues relating to domestic violence. Community members welcomed this initiative.
The community was encouraged to come forward and report any incidents of domestic violence to the police. Pamphlets containing all the necessary information regarding domestic violence were distributed.
