In the early hours of this morning, Sunday 07 May 2017, the Netcare 911 flight desk was contacted to assist with helicopter transportation from a crash scene in Bronkhorstspruit where a vehicle had overturned.
Provincial EMS were on scene attending to a 33 year old male who was in a very serious condition due to the head injury he had sustained. The helicopter with its specialised personnel and equipment was dispatched to the scene and rapidly transported the man to an awaiting trauma centre in Pretoria.
