The body of the missing person from Kgautswane of the Leboeng Policing area outside Burgersfort was recovered in a nearby dam during an intensive joint search operation by the SAPS Thohoyandou Search and Rescue Team, the K9 Units from both Tzaneen and Burgersfort Clusters in conjunction with the local community, Community Police Forum and the YCOP.
It is alleged that Peter Serope Maoko 45 from Kgautswane Village in Matshiretsane Section went missing on Wednesday the 2017-05-03 morning after his wife realised that he is nowhere to be found after she woke up. She immediately reported the matter to police who responded swiftly and a search operation was launched.
The Police investigations are still continuing.
