On Friday morning, at 10h10 Netcare 911 paramedics responded to reports of a bus accident on the R603 in Adams Mission near Amanzimtoti. Reports from the scene indicate that the bus veered off the roadway, the passenger side wheels sunk away in the soft soil and it started to tilt to the side.
Paramedics from Netcare 911 and the provincial services arrived at the scene and found all the children to have escaped with minor injuries. The children were transported to hospitals in the area for a check-up.
