Two men were killed and another sustained minor injuries after an unknown group of men shot at them in the informal settlement close to Main Reef Road, Brakpan.
When ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene they found one man lying next to the road and another inside his home. Unfortunately, both the men sustained fatal injuries and were declared dead on the scene.
A third man was transported by another medical service to a nearby hospital.
The cause of the incident is not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
