A man is in a serious condition after a shooting incident in Durban central on Tuesday evening.
Just after 6pm Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene on Field Street to find SAPS in attendance. They found a man had sustained a single gunshot wound to his abdomen, he was in a serious condition and was stabilised on the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for the further care that he required.
At this stage the events leading up to the shooting are unknown however SAPS will be investigating further.
