Alpha Alarms Response Units acted quickly and dispatched firefighters when noticing a fire at a premises on Gokul Road, Isipingo Rail, early this morning whilst on patrol duty. The Alpha Response Unit stood down at the scene and was joined by Metro Police and Firefighters who worked swiftly to extinguish the blaze.
A brawl almost broke between residents and personnel from the premises, thankfully, Alpha and Metro were on scene. There were no reported injuries and it is alleged that the fire was possibly started by a lit cigarette that was carelessly tossed away without being properly extinguished.
