Heuweloord fetus found in rubbish bin

A fetus was found this morning in a rubbish bin along the Silver-Acre Road in Heuweloord, Centurion.

ER24 paramedics were called to the scene after refuse collection workers had spotted the body in the bin.

Paramedics arrived on the scene and found the body lying inside the rubbish bin, wrapped in a bloody towel.

Unfortunately, it was evident that the fetus had been there for some time. Nothing more could be done by paramedics.

The local authorities were on the scene and will be launching a full investigation into the matter.
