A factory fire in Khumzimpi Shezi Road ( Williams Road) in Umbilo has gutted the premises on Tuesday evening.
Just after 8 pm, Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene with the Durban Fire Department to find the factory well alight. The Fire was quickly contained and extinguished by Fireman. No injuries were reported on the scene as the factory was closed at the time of the incident.
At this stage, the events leading up to the fire starting are unknown however SAPS and Fire Department will be investigating further.
