At approximately 02H30 this morning 9 February 2018, Netcare 911 responded to reports of an assault on a business property on Hilston Road in Randburg, Gauteng.
On arrival they attended to a 35-year-old male security guard who sustained minor to moderate injuries during the assault as well as a 35-year-old suspect with a gunshot wound to his left leg.
It is alleged that 10 men tried to rob the business and that 9 got away. The one apprehended suspect was transported to hospital by Netcare 911 under police guard. SAPS was on scene to conduct an investigation.
