Members of Reaction Unit South Africa were dispatched to Bridgeford Road in Mountview – Verulam after receiving reports of a house on fire this past Saturday.
Upon arrival, Reaction Officers found the entire house engulfed in flames. Firefighters from the Ethekwini Fire & Rescue Services were on scene and in the process of extinguishing the blaze. The house was extensively damaged. The fire is believed to have started in one of the bedrooms.
Arson is suspected to be the cause of the fire, however, this is yet to be confirmed.
