At approximately 17H45 on Saturday 03 March 2018, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a very serious collision involving a motorcycle and another vehicle at the intersection of Main Road and Nellmapius Drive in Irene, Pretoria.
Reports from the scene indicate that the male motorcyclist, who was approximately sixty years old, had sustained severe injuries. Tragically there was nothing further that paramedics could do for the man and he died at the scene.
The occupants of the vehicle were not injured in the incident.
The police were on the scene to investigate the crash.
