Taxi and car collide leaving seven injured on Nasrec Road in Nasrec, Johannesburg.

Seven people were injured this morning following a collision between a taxi and light motor vehicle on Nasrec Road in Nasrec, Johannesburg.

ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene to find the taxi parked on the side of the pavement while the light motor vehicle was found in the middle of the road 100 metres away.

Paramedics assess the patients and found that seven had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found on the scene.

The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported by ER24 to a nearby provincial hospital for further care.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
