Dagga stash found near Coega

Last night at about 20:00, police found a massive stash of dagga in the bushes near Coega.

This followed after SAPS Motherwell Cluster Operational Command Centre members received information and on the follow-up, discovered 13 black bags of dagga in bushes next to Coega Road. The total weight was over 300 kilograms with an estimated street value of more than R600 000.

The Motherwell Cluster Commander, Major General Dawie Rabie applauded the find and added that “300 kilograms of dagga off the streets places a dent in the drug traffickers’ operations and ensures a safer environment for our communities”.
