Durban: At 13H45 Thursday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of an industrial accident in the Inanda area.
Reports indicate that a 41-year-old male factory worker had his right arm amputated at the shoulder when it was said he tripped and fell when his arm got caught in a conveyor belt.
The man sustained serious injuries and was admitted to hospital for treatment.
