A Nine year old young girl has been killed in a shooting incident in Shallcross area this morning just after 07:30.
Rescue Care Paramedics were called to Caucus Road in Shallcross. On arrival they found the road closed off by SAPS and Metro Police officials. On man had sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased by EMRS Paramedics. A child who had also been shot had been rushed to a nearby hospital however her injuries were too severe and she passed away despite resuscitation efforts.
AT this stage the events leading up to the shooting are unknown however SAPS were on scene and will be investigating further.
