A 46-year-old male injured a Collision in Verulam, KZN

A 46-year-old male is in a critical condition after he suffered extensive head injuries when his vehicle collided with an SUV and a truck at the R102/Inanda Road intersection in Verulam – KZN this morning.

Reaction Unit South Africa arrived on scene at approx 10:10 am and found a silver Ford Ecosport stuck under a truck. The driver suffered minor injuries.

The passenger of the blue Chery QQ, a 45-year-old woman informed Reaction Officers that her husband collided with the vehicles after he became confused regarding the directional arrow at the robots. The couple who reside in Port Shepstone – KZN were in Verulam searching for a home.

They were both transported to Umhlanga Hospital.
