A man, believed to be in his 30s, was killed this evening when he was knocked over by a light motor vehicle on the M4 northbound in La Mercy, KwaZulu Natal.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 18h40 to find the body of a man lying on the side of the road in the emergency lane.
Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous injuries and showed no signs of life. Unfortunately, nothing could be done for him and he was declared dead.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
