Two suspects were apprehended by members of Reaction Unit South Africa after they stole a battery and a vehicle exhaust system from a workshop in Phoenix – KZN this morning.
Reaction Officers were called out to the business after staff witnessed two men jumping over the perimeter fence with the stolen items. Officers proceeded to a scrap yard in the area and apprehended one of the suspects on the outside with the stolen exhaust. His accomplice was found inside the scrap yard. They had already sold the battery which was destroyed by the scrap yard.
Both suspects are known drug users and have been arrested by RUSA Members on previous occasions for crimes relating to theft.
